Asharqia Chamber presents you with its best regards and informs you that it has received the letter of the Council of Saudi Chambers No. (42103107) on (5/8/1442) Referring to the letter of the Saudi Organization for Standardization, Metrology and Quality No. (5376) dated (3/8/1442), regarding the authority's keenness on the safety of high-risk products traded in the Saudi market and to ensure the validity of their sources, and where it was decided that the mandatory date for the application of the national recognition certificate (IECEE) On the products listed below, starting from (11/21/1442) corresponding to (1/7/2021).
Water boilers.
All kinds of coffee machines.
Electric oil fryers.
Video game consoles and accessories.
Electric pumps of 5 horsepower or less for all uses.
Accordingly, the Council hopes that those concerned should submit to the authority an application to obtain the national recognition certificate (IECEE), noting that these products will not be allowed to enter or circulate within the Saudi market unless they have obtained the national recognition certificate (IECEE) as of the above-mentioned date.
